SBS’s drama Buried Hearts reached its highest Friday viewership on March 14, 2025. The show, starring Park Hyung Sik, has been doing well with double-digit ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode scored 10.9 percent nationwide, making it the top show in its time slot across all channels.
Fridays usually have lower ratings for the drama compared to Sundays, so this is a big win. Buried Hearts is a revenge story about a man who hacks a huge political fund worth 2 trillion won (about $1.4 billion) and another man who accidentally causes trouble by killing him. The episode releases every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. KST on SBS and streams on Disney+ in some regions.
Meanwhile, MBC’s Undercover High School, starring Seo Kang Jun, started its second half on the same day. This action comedy about a spy posing as a high school student earned 6.8 percent nationwide. It also airs on Fridays and Saturdays and is available on Viki. Both shows are keeping viewers hooked with their exciting stories.

The latest episode of Buried Hearts, Episode 8, aired on March 15, 2025, at 9:50 p.m. KST on SBS in South Korea. It’s part of the Friday-Saturday drama that started on February 21, 2025 and is also available on Disney+ in some regions.
In this episode, Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik) is in the hospital, badly hurt and close to death after being tortured by Yeom Jang-seon’s (Huh Joon-ho) men. Jang-seon visits and recalls Dong-ju’s real name, Chu Seong-hyeon, from his early days at Daesan Group. Meanwhile, Yeo Eun-nam (Hong Hwa-yeon) tells her husband, Yeom Hui-cheol (Kwon Soo-hyun), that she wants a divorce, but he confesses his love instead.
Eun-nam later sees Dong-ju’s condition and decides to help him, switching to his side. A hitman follows her, hinting at danger. Dong-ju wakes up and tricks Jang-seon by threatening his life, showing he still has some fight left. The episode ends with tension rising as Dong-ju’s survival and Eun-nam’s choice shake things up, setting the stage for more drama in Episode 9.
