Resident Playbook is an upcoming South Korean drama and a spin-off of the popular series Hospital Playlist. It shows the real and relatable lives of Obstetrics and Gynecology residents at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center. The story follows their growth, challenges, and warm friendships as they learn to become better doctors.
The series stars Go Youn Jung as Oh Yi Young, Kang You Seok as Um Jae Il, Shin Si Ah as Pyo Nam Kyung and Han Ye Ji as Kim Sa Bi. Directed by Lee Min-soo and created by Shin Won-ho and Lee Woo-jung, it will premiere on April 12, 2025, at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN. A teaser video shows the residents rushing from a meal to handle an emergency, hinting at their busy and unpredictable days. The drama will also stream on Netflix.
