Virgin River Season 7: What’s Next for Mel and Jack After That Emotional Turning Point

Virgin River is one of Netflix’s currently popular romantic dramas, adapted from the series of novels by Robyn Carr. At the core of the series is Melinda “Mel” Monroe, played by Alexandra Breckenridge, a nurse practitioner/midwife who relocates from Los Angeles to the remote Northern California town of Virgin River in pursuit of a new beginning after personal tragedies.

It’s there that she meets Jack Sheridan, portrayed by Martin Henderson, a former Marine and proprietor of the local bar, and their slowly developing relationship becomes the core of the series. It’s a series about love, healing, community, and the numerous challenges inherent in small-town life, from medical emergencies to family secrets and interpersonal dramas among its residents. Virgin River, since it launched in 2019, has warmed its way into people’s hearts with its sentimental stories and beautiful scenery.

To date, all past seasons and the future Virgin River season 7 can be streamed only on Netflix, where episodes are dropped for the rest of the world to stream. The seventh season will return on March 12, 2026. It picks up right where the action ended in Season 6.
