Happy Face is an upcoming true crime drama series set to release on March 20, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+. The plot follows Melissa, who learns at 15 that her dad, Keith Hunter Jesperson, is a serial killer known as Happy Face Killer. Years later, he forces his way back into her life, and she must find out if an innocent man will die for his crime.

Meet the cast of Happy Face
The cast of Happy Face brings the story of Melissa Moore and her father, the Happy Face Killer, to life. Annaleigh Ashford plays Melissa Moore, a woman who learns at 15 that her dad is a serial killer. Ashford is known for Masters of Sex and American Crime Story. Dennis Quaid stars as Keith Hunter Jesperson, the Happy Face Killer, a truck driver who killed at least eight women in the 1990s.
Quaid has appeared in The Parent Trap and Lawmen: Bass Reeves. James Wolk plays Ben, Melissa’s husband, a bank manager, and is known for Mad Men. Tamera Tomakili portrays Ivy, Melissa’s friend, and is recognized from Winning Time. David Harewood takes on the role of Dr. Greg, a talk show host, best known for Homeland. Khiyla Aynne and Benjamin Mackey also join the cast as Hazel and Max, adding to the ensemble.
