While Tyler and Kinsey have experiences in high school with the challenges of friendships and bullies, another learns about the history of Rendell, with the relationships in the family being altered by the appearance of some threats, such as the person who wants the keys and has links to Dodge.

She refuses to talk about where she has been. She then gathers a few strangers to do a secret mission.
